Il peut être long de s'adapter à un nouvel environement, c'est connu. Ça peut aussi être un peu long pour s'acclimater à son atelier, le lieu de travail où l'esprit et la main se rencontrent et travaillent ensemble. Mon atelier me semble de plus en plus être "a room of my own", une cellule de Carmélite (c'est pas très grand) qui m'appartient, qui devient un lieu d'intimité où je suis pleinement libre et où je n'ai peur de rien. Voici un tour guidé de mon atelier.

It can be a long process to adapt to a new environment, it's a well known fact. It can also take quite a while to make a workspace truely ours to create a space where the mind and the hand can meet and act as one. My studio is really becoming "a room of my own", a (smallish) Carmelite nun's cell that's really mine, a space where I am fully free and without fear. Here is a carefully guided tour.

C'est pas chaleureux s'il j'ai pas une tête (ou au moins un panache) d'orignal au-dessus de ma porte. Tout ce qui manque, c'est une Moosehead dans ma main gauche.

Aucune idée de ce que ça va donner, mais le chemin se forme sous mes pas. Ce qui compte, ce n'est pas de faire quelquechose qui n'a jamais été fait, c'est de faire quelque chose que JE n'ai jamais fait. et c'est exactement ça! Joie.

I have absolutely no idea where this is going, but the path is traced by each foot step, after all. What counts is not doing something that has never been done, it is to do something I HAVE NEVER DONE!, and it's exactly that! Joy.
